Gromfest Rules & Guidelines

Eligibility: Gromfest is a community-sponsored invitational event exclusively for kids from Point Loma, Ocean Beach, and SCSA members and their families.

Entry Approval: All entries are subject to approval. You will receive two confirmation emails after payment is submitted—one for pending status and one for final approval. Entries that do not qualify will be refunded.

Judged Divisions: No parent assistance (push-ins) is allowed in judged divisions.

Non-Judged Division: The Super Grom heat is the only non-judged heat and parent assistance is encouraged.

Longboard Requirement: Longboards must be 8 feet or longer.

Age Divisions: Your child’s age division is based on their age as of August 1, 2025.

Entry Submission: No phone or beach entries will be accepted.

Divisions: Each competitor may enter one division only.

Waitlist: If your division is sold out, please email SCSAGromfest@Gmail.com directly if you’d like to be added to the waitlist.
